Leaving Taroko Gorge, the driver Mr Jiang showed me some of the other sights that the east coast has to offer. Chisingtan 七星潭 may be a simple pebble beach, but it is one of the highlights of the trip. The beautiful azure colours and the soothing sounds of the sea bring such tranquility.
Shhhhhhhaaaaah… When I see this photo, I can hear the sound the retreating waves make over the millions of pebbles.
The wave collector: this man arrives in his truck and walks into the surf with these buckets, waiting for the waves to come in. I'm not sure what he's collecting. Fish? Water? Foam?
