The power of nature is evident here in the twisted rocks, the sheer cliffs and the enormous boulders that seem to have dropped out of the sky. Falling rocks and landslides are still common here. Taroko Arch 太魯閣牌樓 marks the entrance to Taroko Gorge on the East-West Highway 東西橫貫公路.
